Ascendant Co-Sponsored LAAIA Scholarship Awards Two Hispanic Students

Ascendant, a proud co-sponsor of the 2021 Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies Scholarship, congratulates scholarship recipients Bianca Anchondo, St. Mary’s University and Andrea Ortiz, St. John's University.

Through Ascendant's co-sponsorship to the LAAIA and The Spencer Educational Foundation, these distinguished young ladies will receive $5000 each for their studies as they prepare for a future in Insurance.

The Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies Scholarship is a new merit-based diversity scholarship created in partnership with The Spencer Educational Foundation and the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies (LAAIA). The scholarships support Hispanic diversity and inclusion in the risk management and insurance industry.

Ascendant’s involvement in the LAAIA Scholarship program highlights its commitment to supporting the communities we serve, including Hispanic-owned insurance agencies and businesses. By supporting Hispanics students in the insurance and risk management programs we insure the diversity of our future industry leaders.
